March was quite eventful!

My album Quiet Presence got three nominations at the Iceland Music Awards and Won Album of the Year in the category ‘other music’. The other nominations was ‘Words That Move’ as song of the year and ‘You Stopped Asking This Question’ as Music Video of the year. I’m also part of a grass root opera group that won Performers of the Year in the classical category!

In addition two short films by Katla Sólnes which I did the music for won some awards! Whim Rules the Child but Weather the Field won ‘Best international short’ at Manchester Film Festival. Embla, another film by Katla which I co-scored with composer and vocalist Maria-Carmela Raso, won two awards at Stockfish Film Festival in Reykjavik Iceland: ‘Best Narrative Short Film’ and ‘the Eva María Daniels Award for Outstanding Filmmaking’.
